How to ensure you show up on time
Review the details of your shift in advance - the address, how to get there, the start time and job requirements
Plan ahead for inclement weather, traffic and other potential delays. Traffic or weather is not a valid excuse for running late so please plan accordingly
If I know I am going to be late, what do I do?
Inform Spotwork as soon as possible to give the company the opportunity to make alternate accommodations.
Late policy
You will not be paid until you arrive on-site
If you are more than 15 minutes late and get sent home by the shift supervisor, you do not qualify for the 4-hour minimum pay
If you are less than 15 minutes late, you will not be marked as late but if you are sent home, you will not qualify for the 4-hour minimum pay
If you do not check in on the Spotwork app within 60 minutes, you will be considered absent and will not qualify for any payments for this shift
