When creating an account on Spotwork, your phone number is the first piece of information we ask for. This serves as the primary way to verify that you have a single account. By linking your account to a unique phone number, we ensure that all verification processes remain consistent and secure for each Spotter.
For this reason, phone numbers cannot be changed directly within the app. However, we offer the following solutions based on your situation:
If you still have access to the phone number but it’s no longer your primary point of contact: Email us at hello@spotwork.co with the subject: Change Contact Phone Number. In your email, explain the reason for the change and provide your new phone number. We’ll update our records to use the new number as your primary contact.
If you no longer have access to the phone number: Create a new Spotwork account using your current phone number. Then, email us at hello@spotwork.co with the subject: New Account Due to Lost Phone Number. In your message, include both your previous and current phone numbers so we can expedite the verification process for your new account.
